Agadir City Tour Agadir
A relaxed private introduction to Agadir: the old Kasbah viewpoint, the energy of Souk El Had, the marina, the beachfront and the everyday corners that make the city feel alive.

Full-day excursion · from Agadir
A private journey south from Agadir to fishermen caves, a rare-bird wetland, a silver-working town and the first golden dunes of the Sahara - all in a single, unhurried day.

Overview
This is one of my favourite day trips out of Agadir - a relaxed loop south that packs in an astonishing variety of southern Morocco. We follow the Atlantic down to Sidi R'bat, where fishermen still shelter in caves carved into the cliffs, then move inland into the Souss-Massa National Park.
From there we cross to the Youssef Ben Tachfine dam, wander the silver-working medina of Tiznit, share a slow Berber lunch of tajine and couscous, and finish on the first real dunes of the Sahara for sunset light.
The day, step by step
I collect you from your hotel and we head down the coast to Sidi R'bat, where caves in the cliffs still shelter fishermen and the Massa river meets the Atlantic.
A gentle walk through the wetlands of the national park, on the lookout for the rare northern bald ibis, flamingos and the birdlife that makes this estuary famous.
A scenic stop at the great reservoir that waters the Souss plain, with wide views over the water and the Anti-Atlas beyond.
Time inside the red ramparts of Tiznit, Morocco's capital of silver jewellery, to wander the souk and watch the craftsmen at work.
We slow down for a home-style Berber meal - tajine and couscous - at a local spot I know and trust.
The highlight: the first golden dunes of the desert, perfect for photos and a barefoot walk in the sand.
We drive back to Agadir, arriving around 17:00 - relaxed, full of stories and with a camera roll to prove it.
